catholicscomehomeFor various reasons, Catholics who once were involved in the Church have fallen away.  On behalf of our parish and the whole Church, I would like to invite you back home.  As we all know, the Church is populated by imperfect people, but at the heart of the Church is the person of Jesus Christ who said He would be with us until the end of time; so please give some prayerful consideration to this invitation.

For those who would like to return, there are a number of ways to do so:

  • Please feel free to start attending Mass again.
  •  Some may desire to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation.  We have many times listed in the bulletin when parishioners can receive this sacrament.  Even if it has been many years since you have gone to confession, please know that you will be received with the compassion of Christ by the priests of the parish.
  • You may have some faith struggles, marriage issues, or spiritual questions.  If so, please feel free to contact Maria at (847) 669-3137, ext. 8601 or Fr. Max at (847) 669-3137, ext. 1383.
  •  If you would like to talk to a priest, feel free to contact Fr. Max at (847) 669-3137, ext. 1383.

Our prayer is that God’s grace may touch the hearts of many through the Catholics Come Home program.  May our Catholic Church reflect the compassion of Christ through this outreach.  For more information, visit Catholics Come Home.
